2011 school holiday program

Calling all young actors aged 13 to 16! Spend a fast and furious week rehearsing Shakespeare’s best-loved comedy A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, culminating in an abridged performance to show off your new performance skills to family and friends. Participants will learn principals of voice and movement to create colourful characters that bring the story to life.

Previous drama class experience is required. Enrolment is on a first come first served basis and information provided in the application will be used to cast the 14 places in the course. Applications close at 3pm on Friday 9 September. The script and character notes will then be issued and the participant will be expected to have learnt (or be very confident) with the lines before rehearsal starts.
