I was reading MX on the train last Tuesday 21 October. On page 5, I saw a picture of the brickwork and side door of Abbotsford Hall. A few years ago, on the front page of MX, the hall appeared. The hall may not have been recognised by some readers - but it was instantly recognizable to me. I know our down pipes well :)
Both images were promoting plays that had rehearsed at the Hall. The most recent one being "The Trouble with Harry" which is playing at the Northcote Town Hall.
Some surprisingly high profile and international actors and models have visited us over the years. It's great to see some of the shows rehearsed within our hall both advertised on TV and local Melbourne Papers.
Whether you are an international movie looking for a filming location or a Melbourne based threatre group looking to rehearse your play, we welcome these users and which them every success in their artistic endeavors.
